Position: Office Associate

Location: Sedalia, MO
Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Office Manager
Compensation: $18-$25 per hour

Job Summary

The Office Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office by handling a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support to the office, including managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Document Management:
  • Maintain and organize office files, records, and documentation both electronically and in physical form.
  • Scheduling:
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members.
  • Office Supplies:
  • Monitor and manage office supplies inventory; order new supplies as needed.
  • Data Entry:
  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate records in various databases and systems.
  • Customer Service:
  • Greet visitors, handle inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Mail Handling:
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail, including shipments.
  • Team Support:
  • Assist different departments with various tasks, projects, and administrative duties as required.
  • Event Coordination:
  • Help organize and coordinate company events, meetings, and lunches.
  • Miscellaneous Tasks:
  • Perform other office-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other office software.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
